About ICEMIR 2026:
The 2nd International Conference on Engineering, Management, and Interdisciplinary Research 2026 (ICEMIR 2026) is an annual international conference organized by the International College of Engineering and Management (ICEM), Sultanate of Oman, in collaboration with Karabük Üniversitesi (Türkiye), the University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar (Pakistan), and Universiti Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
Building on the success of its inaugural edition, ICEMIR 2026 provides an international platform for researchers, academics, industry professionals, policymakers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and postgraduate students to present research, exchange knowledge, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
Held under the theme "Innovative Interdisciplinary Research for a Sustainable and Intelligent World," the conference brings together experts from engineering, technology, artificial intelligence, business, management, environmental sustainability, education, healthcare, and related disciplines to advance research, innovation, and sustainable development.
Conference Highlights:
ICEMIR 2026 will be conducted as a fully virtual international conference, providing an inclusive and accessible platform that enables worldwide participation and promotes international research collaboration.
Participation
Researchers may participate in ICEMIR 2026 through one of the following submission categories.
1. Abstract Submission
Authors may submit an abstract for peer review and oral presentation consideration.
Accepted abstracts will be presented during the conference and published in the ICEMIR 2026 Conference Proceedings free of charge to the authors.
2. Full Paper Submission
Authors may submit a full paper for peer review and oral presentation consideration.
Based on the recommendation of the Conference Scientific Committee, selected high-quality full papers may be recommended for submission to suitable Scopus-indexed and other internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals, subject to the manuscript's scope, research discipline, scientific quality, and the receiving journal's editorial policies.
Additional publication opportunities will be announced on the official ICEMIR 2026 website.
Conference acceptance does not guarantee journal publication. Recommended manuscripts must successfully complete the receiving journal's editorial screening and peer-review process and satisfy its aims, scope, quality standards, ethical requirements, and publication policies. Final publication decisions are made solely by the receiving journal's Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board.

Publication Options
Authors may choose one of the following publication options.
Option A – Journal Publication
Authors who wish to publish in a journal may have their papers recommended for submission to suitable Scopus-indexed and other internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals following the conference review process.
Journal Publication Fees
Journal publication opportunities and any applicable submission fees or Article Processing Charges (APCs) will depend on the receiving journal . Any applicable APCs will be payable only in accordance with the receiving journal's official publication policy.
Option B – Conference Proceedings (Free of Charge)
Authors may choose to publish their full papers directly in the ICEMIR 2026 Conference Proceedings.
Publication in the Conference Proceedings is completely free of charge, subject to successful peer review and conference acceptance.
Option C – Journal Transfer to Conference Proceedings
Authors whose papers are recommended for journal submission but are not accepted by the receiving journal may request publication in the ICEMIR 2026 Conference Proceedings.
Subject to approval by the Conference Editorial Committee and compliance with the conference publication requirements, these papers may be published in the ICEMIR 2026 Conference Proceedings free of charge to the authors.
Peer Review
All submissions must present original and unpublished work relevant to the conference themes and tracks.
All abstracts and full papers submitted to ICEMIR 2026 will undergo a rigorous conference peer-review process coordinated by the Conference Scientific and Technical Committees to evaluate originality, scientific quality, technical soundness, relevance, and overall contribution to the conference.
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, submissions may be:

For papers recommended for journal submission, each receiving journal will conduct its own editorial screening and peer-review process according to its publication policies. Depending on the journal, the review process may follow either a single-blind or double-blind peer-review model. Final publication decisions are made solely by the receiving journal's Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board.
