Programme Entry Requirements :

Applicants are required to hold one of the following qualifications:

• Hons Degree in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or any relevant field.

Proficiency in English Language 

• A minimum proficiency level equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.0, Or

• Completed Postgraduate Qualifying Programme (PQP) for applicants who have IELTS grade less than 6.0 .

Aims of the Programme:

To develop professionals who possess a deep understanding of managing health, safety, and environmental concerns, enabling them to lead effectively in diverse organizational settings.

To enhance students’ knowledge and practical skills in hazard identification techniques and risk management approaches, ensuring safer workplaces in line with international standards and best practices.

To equip students with advanced analytical skills to assess and evaluate HSE management systems, encouraging the use of sustainable solutions through technology and innovative digital tools.

To train students to excel both independently and as part of a team, conduct thorough research, contribute to knowledge advancement, engage with the community, and communicate findings effectively.

Programme Overview:

The Master of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management is a programme designed to prepare highly competent professionals to lead and advance HSE practices across diverse sectors, in response to the growing importance of regulatory compliance, sustainability, and risk governance for organizational success.

By integrating advanced theoretical knowledge with practical applications aligned with international standards and best practices, the programme enables students to exercise institutional leadership, implement effective risk management frameworks, critically analyze HSE systems, and develop strategic plans that enhance safety and sustainability.

The programme produces leaders equipped with the expertise and vision required to drive impactful HSE initiatives, strengthen organizational resilience, and promote safe and sustainable work environments at both national and international levels.
