  • A General Education Certificate (twelfth grade) or equivalent with a D grade or above in Advanced Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry.

  • Candidates should pass the ICEM Placement Test / General Foundation Programme

Modes of Attendance offered

  • Full Time - 4 years  

  • Full Time with Sandwich year - 5 years

  • Part Time - 6 years

Programme Overview:

The BEng Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Programme is designed to meet the increasing demand for skilled maintenance professionals across diverse industries such as oil and gas, mining, pharmaceuticals, nuclear, petrochemicals, and aerospace. With the rapid advancement of technology, there is a pressing need for experts who can ensure the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems. This programme offers a comprehensive education that aligns with industry needs. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in key concepts of mechanical principles, and maintenance strategies and techniques, covering a wide range of essential modules. Students will study different modules such as Engineering Simulation, Manufacturing Technologies and Sustainable Manufacturing, Mechanical System Reliability, Total Productive Maintenance, Engineering Design, Instrumentation and Control Systems, and Metrology and Quality Engineering. By integrating hands-on training with theoretical knowledge, graduates will be prepared to meet the growing demands of the workforce.
